Oliver Broe has joined, for the first time, Louis Fialdini as Academy players currently training with the first team, Broe recently impressing first-team manager Adam Lakeland while playing for the U23s.
Broe is expected to be in Lakeland’s squad for their friendly trip to Eccleshill United on Saturday, according to the first-team manager.
Lakeland recently scouted the U23s’ West Riding County Cup quarter-final and semi-final fixtures.
Louis Fialdini, another academy player, already training with the first-team since the end of last season, is currently isolating until Friday [9th July], was absent from Tuesday’s training session and is expected to miss Saturday’s friendly.
First-team new signings Ben McKenna and Sam Walker were both present on Tuesday.
