Yorkshire Amateur have signed defender Alfie Gibbons on-loan from Halifax Town, in time for today’s visit from Albion Sports in the NCEL Premier.
Gibbons, a centre-half who can also play at full-back, is currently part of The Shaymen’s u18s.
The Bradford-born defender spent his early academy career at local side Huddersfield Town before moving to Premier League’s Everton and then Burnley.
Gibbons’ debut could come at the Southerns Stadium this afternoon against The Lions, kick-off 3pm.
