Jonpaul Sharp reconnects with Casey O’Reilly at Yorkshire Amateur

Yorkshire Amateur’s new signing Jonpaul Sharp reconnects with manager Casey O’Reilly, the pair now at Yorkshire Amateur having previously worked together at academy level.

The creative-midfielder played under O’Reilly very recently at u21 level as one of the permitted over-age players, O’Reilly stepping away from that role only this summer.

Sharp’s, 34, previous experience comes by clubs such as Garforth Town and Robin Hood Athletic, most recently appearing for South Milford last season. Between the age of 9 & 15, Sharp represented Sheffield United.

A ‘number 10’, Sharp entertains viewers of the Sellebrity matches, selected alongside various celebrities for charity games.

An NCEL Division one opening day visit to Wombwell on Saturday 29th July could prove to be Sharp’s competitive debut for The Ammers.
